Our AML/CTF Tranche 2 compliance partner. Bank-grade compliance, built for how a buyers agency actually operates.

the date Tranche 2 of the AML/CTF Act came into force
AML Partners is an Australian AML/CTF compliance firm founded by John Nguyen, a former bank compliance specialist. They built FlowAML, a compliance platform designed specifically for property professionals now caught under Tranche 2 of the AML/CTF Act: real estate agents, buyers agents, conveyancers and property developers among them. In the first four months after Tranche 2 took effect, AML Partners signed on more than 300 property businesses.
FlowAML is a fully outsourced compliance service, not just software. AML Partners builds your business risk assessment and your AML/CTF program, runs customer due diligence and sanctions and PEP screening on every vendor and purchaser, monitors transactions, trains your staff, and manages your AUSTRAC reporting where required.
In practice, that means bank-grade compliance without hiring a compliance expert, or becoming one yourself.
Tranche 2 of the AML/CTF Act came into force on 1 July 2026. If you're a buyers agent, you're now an AUSTRAC reporting entity, whether you've built a program yet or not. That's not a future obligation, it's a current one.
We ran our AML Roadmap Workshop with John Nguyen to walk BAM members through exactly what Tranche 2 requires. If you haven't seen it, the details are here.
We chose AML Partners as our compliance partner because John built FlowAML for property professionals specifically, not lawyers or banks retrofitting a generic tool. It's built around how a buyers agency actually operates, and it takes the compliance work off your desk rather than handing you another system to run yourself.
BAM members get a significant discount on AML Partners' set up cost, which covers your risk assessment and AML/CTF program, plus twelve months free of platform fees. Screening costs are charged per vendor or purchaser.
Figures current as at July 2026. Expected year 1 savings compare the BAM offer to AML Partners' standard pricing over twelve months.
Screening is a flat $65 per transaction: one fee for the buyer and one for the vendor, regardless of how many people are on the title, or whether it's owned in a personal name, company, or trust.
